OBITUARY.
MR JOHN ALLEN. AUCKLAND, Thursday. The death occurred of Mr John Allen, an old and respected resident. Mr Allen was born in Belfast, Ireland, in 1844, and arrived in Auckland in the middle eighties. lie was one of the earliest and oldest members of the Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen’s . Association, having been a vice-president for many years.
