THE WEATHER.
LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, of Balfour M. Irvine and Webster, Ltd., supplies the following observations of the weather: — Barometer, Tuesday 75.0 53.0 Wednesday 74.0 50.0 Thermometer. Max. Min. Wednesday .. 29.80 Thursday ..... 29.80 The barometer has very little movement and reads 29.80. Indications are for continued fair weather to-day and tomorrow, with seasonable temperature and light-winds from a northerly direction. Mean temperature 62 degrees. The Weather Bureau -wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for variable and moderate breezes but shortly changing to northerly and freshening. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather but isolated showers. Barometer —little movement. YESTERDAY’S WEATHER. The following official report was issued at 4 p.m. yesterday:—
