WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
AT OPARAU. A meeting of the Women’s Institute was held in the Qparau Hall on October 20, when Miss Sandilands presided. After general business was concluded Miss Sandilands asked members if they would like to enter anything for the forthcoming Raglan Show. The Rev. H. Boyd Bell gave an interesting address on* faith healing, which was much appreciated. A competition for the best article costing not more than 2s Gd was won by Mrs Watts, Mrs Warner coming second. Afternoon tea was dispensed by tiro hostesses (Mesdames Whilwell, Warner, G. Stuart, jun., and Robinson). The afternoon concluded with tlie singing of the National Anthem, the music being supplied by Miss Cuffe.
