MATAMATA NOTES.

DAIRY COMPANY BALL. The annual ball of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company staff and suppliers was held in the Town Hall on Tuesday evening when large numbers from Matamata and district were present. A strong committee had spared no pains to make the ball a success. The hall was tastefully decorated with anchor designs prominent and the floor was in good order. The set out supper presided over by the ladies’ committee was much appreciated. Mr Ces. Pennell's Harmony Orchestra provided 'the music for the dancing. Extras were played by Mrs T.
