OBITUARY.
DR. F. RATCLIFFE RILEY. PROFESSOR AT OTAGO UNIVERSITY DUNEDIN, Monday. Dr. F. Ratcliffe Riley died to-day at the age of 67 years. In 1909 Dr. Riley was appointed lecturer at Otago University on midwifery and gynaecology, and at the end of 1929 he became professor in these subjects, retaining this chair until his retirement in- February. Dr. Riley served for a term as a member of the Dunedin City Council and was an elder of Knox Church. He leaves a widow, three sons and one daughter. MR H. W. FERGUSON. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The death of Mr Hugh White Ferguson has occurred at the age of 72 years. # Mr Ferguson was formerly manager and then inspector of the Union Bank of Australia. MR T. R. SPRAGGON. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. Raymond Little, a noted amateur tennis player, and for several years a member of the Davis Cup team, has been found dead at his home.
