KNOCKED DOWN BY TAXI. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sunday. Knocked down by a taxi-cab last evening, Mr William Edwards, of Eastbourne, died in hospital. Deceased was 33 years of age, and was a married man with two children. BOV FATALLY INJURED. DUNEDIN, Sunday. A three-year-old boy, Robert William Davidson, whose parents reside at Olokia, was knocked down by a car on Saturday and was admitted to hospital suffering from severe injuries. He died shortly after midnight.
