FIRES IN JULY.
HAMILTON BRIGADE’S ACTIVITY. FOUR CALLS RECEIVED. The Hamilton Fire Brigade was called out on four occasions last month, the summonses being to a property outbreak, two chimney fires and a false alarm, accidentally given. In the corresponding month last year six calls were received, four to actual fires, two of which were outside the brigade's area, one to a chimney fire and another to a refuse fire.
