WAIHOU STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Lid., report: At Waihou sale a good yarding of fat cattle and dairy heifers came forward. Beef was firm at late rates. Dairy heifers close to profit met with good competition, and satisfactory prices were realised. A large yarding of dairy cattlo again came forward. Only the best heifers close to profit sold to brisk bidding. The pedigree Jersey heifers on account of Messrs \V. Dunn and Sons realised from Ggns to 11* gns. A pedigree Jersey heifer on behalf of Mr G. Goodfellow realised 12 gns, being purchased by Mr P. Maloney. Mr Goodfellow’s 8 heifers averaged £8 Bs. Pigs: There was a large entry of store pigs and a small yarding of fats. Prices for all classes were on a par with late quotations.
