Now Zealand racehorses had a successful innings at the Rosehlll meeting yesterday. (Havering scored an •asy viotory In the Rosehlll Handicap, bis winning margin being three lengths. This was his first win on his present trip to Australia and was also his first success since he won the President’s Handicap at the Te Kultl Racing Club’s meeting at Te Awam-utu in in May of last year. The Magpie filly Gold Mag, owned and trained by Mr J. Hennah, of Hastings, scored a spectacular win in the Malden Three-year-old Handicap. This was Gold Mag’s first start in Sydney and Bhe won nicely by a length. The New Zealander Roy Reed rode her. Oratorian ran third to Holdfast and Erble in the Flying Handicap. King March finished fifth in Havering’s race. Mungatoon wais unplaced in the Nursery Handicap, and White Wings was unplaced in the Carlingford Jdile. Spear Lad ran third to Rex Aurantio and Mystery Ship in the Glen Orla Handicap. Lady Pam was unplaced in the Derrimut Handicap, and Landmark was unplaced in the Jumpers’ Fiat.
