CYCLIST INJURED.
COLLISION WITH CAR. ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL. Concussion and scalp abrasions were sustained by William Powell, a singlo man, aged 66 years, of Knighton Road. Hamilton East, when the bicycle lie was riding was involved in a collision with a -motor car driven by Mr Owen Lewis, a commercial traveller, of Tc Aroha Street, Claudelands, in front of the Catholic Church, Hamilton East, on Saturday afternoon. The car was travelling along Grey Street, in the Claudelands direction, and the cyclist proceeding the opposite way, when the mishap occurred. The injured man was admitted to the Waikato Hospital, where he is progressing satisfactorily.
