CLASH IN FISHING FIELD
RUSSIANS V. JAPANESE. A REGRETTABLE INCIDENT. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. TOKIO, June 11. The first clash of the fishing season occurred off the Kamchatka Peninsula, Siberia. It is reported that Soviet guards fired, wounding Japanese, during the rescue of fishermen from the Genzan Maru, of 3000 tons, which was wrecked in a dense fog. Japanese survivors numbering 251 were taken to Petropavlovsk, the remaining 90 being on board rescuing steamers.
