FAMILY PACT. LIFE NO FURTHER APPEAL. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. NEW YORK, June 1A 'Shocking domestic tragedy 'Occurred at Brooklyn yesterday. The proprietress of a lingerie shop, Senora Mathilda del Rio, wife of Carlos del Rio, a wealthy Argentinian, died and her utterly disconsolate husband and four daughters committed suicide. The girls wrote notes explaining that life had no further appeal for them. “We shall be crazy without you, mother,” they said. The father and daughters closed all the windows and doors in their home and turned on the gas. All are to be buried with the mother.
