STORMY VOYAGE.
VESSEL FOUR DAYB LATE. STRONG SOUTH-EASTERLY GALE. (Bj TelegranJi.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Tlie Tainui arrived early this morning from Southampton, about four days overdue. She ran into a south-westerly gale on May 2(5, and the storm continued lire following six days, forming an unpleasant ending to an otherwise enjoyable voyage, which included a stay of nine hours at Balboa. Tlie wind and spray kept most of the passengers off the open decks, but tlie ship came through unscatehed, though at a reduced speed. She called at Pitcairn, landing stores and mails on May 21.
