RUGBY, May 20. The League of Nations Council considered the Liberian question. A report providing l’or the appointment by the League and the United Stales of high officials lo supervise administrative, financial and sanitary reforms was adopted, although the Liberian Secretary of State said that he was not in a position to say if the Government would accept these measures.
A loan of £49,400 as well as a moratorium, will not be negotiated until Liberia accepts the full plan of reorganisation contained in the report.
