PROCLAMATION ON MONDAY.

WELLINGTON, Saturday.
Hon. W. Down!© Stewart, Minister of Customs, announced today that he has now received advice from the Canadian Government that they are prepared to bring tho trade agreement Into force on Tuesday, 24th Instant. Tho Canadian authorities have been advised that this date will suit New Zealand, and the necessary Ordor-in-Councll and proclamation will bo dealt with by tho executive council on Monday.
