TO KEEP THEIR LOVE.
STRANGE REASON FOR DIVORCE. ACTOR LOSING HIS IDENTITY. A new reason for seeking a divorce is put forward by two film stars, according to a message from Hollywood. They want to “preserve their love.” They are Ann Harding and Harry C. Bannister, and they blame the film colony for breaking up their home. The announcement of their decision to seek a divorce is made in brief letters to the Press. Hiss Harding says: “Due to Harry’s constant and generous effort to forward my interests, often at the expense of 1 1 is own, hois gradually losing iris identity.” Her husband says: “During the five and a half years I have been married to Ann I have had the love, respect and devotion of the very great and lovely person who is my wife. To preserve this in ils entirety we find the apparently drastic course of divorce the quickest and best solution.”
