CY'CLIST STRIKES POLE. AUCKLAND, Friday. As a result of striking a telegraph pole yesterday, a motor cyclist, Mr Clinton Wallace, aged 18, was admitted to the hospital suffering from a fracture of the base of the skull and other head injuries. MOTOR CYCLIST KILLED. AUCKLAND, Friday. Injuries which caused almost instantaneous death were received byMr Norman George Shailer, married, aged 50, as tho result of being knocked off his cycle in a collision with a motor truck yesterday. The motor iruck, which was owned by Fong Kee and Company, was driven by a young man. Mr Oscar Ernest Fletcher. Mr Shailer received fractures- of both legs and grave internal Injuries. LITTLE BOY DROWNED. DUNEDIN, Thursday. ' The body of Bryan Robert Bamber, aged four years, son of a railway porter at Port Chalmers, was found floating in the harbour at Port Chalmers this afternoon. The hoy was seen about an hour earlier playing close to the water’s edge.
