A LENGTHY SITTING. TARIFF POLICY DEBATED. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received May 20, 11.15 a.m.) CABNERRA, May 20. After a continuous sitting of 33 hours the House of Representatives rose, having discussed five items of the Government’s tariff policy. A Government proclamation removes the prohibition on the importation of glucose, cornflour, starch, custard powders, furs and other skins, blankets, rugs, curtains, textile blinds, vinegar, wines, vermouth and locomotives.
