LADIES’ GOLF.
ROTORUA TOURNAMENT. WON BY MRS FERGUSON. ROTORUA, Thursday. The final of the Rotorua Ladles’ Golf Club open championship was played to-day and resulted in a win for Mrs Ferguson (Auckland 1, who defeated Miss Dudding, 7 and 5. In the semi-final Mrs Ferguson beat Mrs Collinson, 3 and 1, and Miss Dudding beat Miss Wilkinson, 2 up. In the final the first hole went to Miss Dudding, Airs Ferguson missing an easy putt. The second was halved, and Mrs Ferguson won the third, squaring the game. The fourth was halved, and Mrs -Ferguson won. the next four. She did not lose another hole, and was 7 up after the 13th, being then declared the winner.
