Condemning deflation as a hideouF process and the main cause of the world’s troubles, Mr Winston Churchill, broadcasting to 30,000,000 Americans from Lonaun, urged the Empire and America to make a great united effort to provide the world with a money system benefiting all nations, including the recognition of silver, which is the money of a billion people, and should not be treated with such little regard as a sack of potatoes.
He added: "We shall then have' reached the end of these absurd nightmare years.”
