QUEST FOR HUSBAND.

"In every country I visit I am asked: ‘Where are you going from lere?’ Nobody seems to realise that I must stop some time and look for a husband.’’ An appreciative burst of applause from members'* of the Millions Club and their wives Interrupted this remark made by Fraulein Beinhorn, in what was perhaps the longest speech she made since her arrival in Sydney. “Next time I fly to Australia I.promise I will not come slow, ‘like a tortoise,' but as quickly as possible; maybe in less than eight days,” she continued. Sir Arthur Rickard then presented her with a copy, autographed by club members, of Australian selected verse. Mr Aubrey Halloran also added his word of praise. “If women continue to do great deeds," he remarked, “in another half a century we men will have to look to our laurels." . Among those present wore Lady Rickard, Miss Margery Halloran, Madame. Busing, Mr F. E. Crook, Mr R. J. Franki, Dr. E. Suttor, and Mr and Mrs S. E. Jamieson., -
