GIFT PARTY.
FOR BRIOE-TO-BE. / Mrs N. Ratcliffe of Hamilton was hostess at a party given for Miss Doris Pratt on Saturday evening. Mrs Ratcliffe received her guests wearing a frock of crushed strawberry crepe-de-chine, Miss Pratt wearing brown and blue figured crepe-de-chine. Competitions were played and were won by Miss P. Bullock, Miss N. Sergei and Miss K. Mears. Among those present were:— Misses D. Pratt, J. Pratt, P. English, K. Mears, E. House, M. ClaytonGreene, D. Parrish, R. Bullock, B. Vickery', H. Hawkins, N. Sergei, L. Maning, L. Hume, M. Gillies, G. Howlett, N. Carter, A. Bourke, M. King.
