STRENGTH OF FORCES. BRITAIN SUBMITS STATEMENT. (Official Wireless.) RUGBY’, August 12. The statement by the British Government giving details of Hie personnel and material of the British military and air forces, which was asked for by the Council of the League of Nations as a preliminary to the meeting next February of "the World Disarmament Conference, has been received by the secretary of the League at Geneva. It is expected that copies of tlie statement will be translated and ready for transmission to the Governments which are to take part in the conference by Friday week, and that it will be published on the following day. Tlie document consists of 100 foolscap pages.
