QUADRUPLE MURDER.
SHOCKING CRIME. YOUNG MOTORISTS KILLED. ATTEMPT TO BURN BODIES. United Press Assn. —Eleo. Tel. Copyright. (Received Aug. 13, 9.36 a.m.) VANCOUVER, Aug. 12. At Annarbor (Michigan) four motorists, all under 20 years of age have been murdered and their bodies placed under the rear seat of the car which was burned. A local farmer saw the tracks of another car leading away from the scene.
The police are of opinion that the victims, who were returning from a cinema were waylaid and robbed and the girls probably outraged. All were shot dead and their bodies tossed Into the car, which was set on fire In order to remove all traces of the tragedy.
