THIS MORNING’S BUSINESS. , (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Thursday. In the business recorded this morning the Banking section did not secure its usual share, and at the fresh bidding there was again a quiet tone. Quotations showed little alteration, but English and Scottish were offered at 2s cheaper, namely, £3 18s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's scrip was offered at 10s lower, namely, £47 :10s, but the buyer dropped back to £43. After a sale of Moturoa Oils yesterday at Gs, the highest bidder stopped at ss. A buyer came in for Wellington Woollens at £4 2*s 6d. In Government stocks a parcel of 4A per cents, was on offer at £lOO ss, and one of inscribed stock at par. SALES REPORTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. Thursday.
