QUESTIONS IN HOUSE. CURTAILING SUBURBAN SERVICES WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Mr W. J. Jordan (Labour —Manukau) in the House of Representatives to-day asked whether the Minister of Railways was aware that the, staffs of the stations in the Auckland suburban railway district had been circularised asking what savings could be expected by the cutting out of the suburban railway traffic, and whether the Government approved of the cutting out of these services, rather than improving them. The Prime Minister, the Rt Hon G. \V. Forbes asked that the question Im put on Ihe Order Paper for a reply later.
