OPERATIONS AT AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. There was little alteration in the Banking or Insurance sections on the Stock Exchange this morning, but Standards were offered a shade lower at £2 7s 6d. Buyers for New Zealaid Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. scrip advanced to £44. M'orris-Hedstrom shares were offered at 18s 6d. The latest reports from New Plymouth revived Interest in Moturoa Oils. Buyers advanced to 5s 9d. Holders withdrew to 7s 3d. In Government stocks a pared ot s<j per cents. (1933) was offered at par, and 4J per cent. Inscribed £lOO ss. Buyers for 4J per cent, bonds bid £99 10s.

Kempthorne, Prosser, 525. Inscribed loan, 5J per cent. (1927-41), £9B 10s. Walhi, 15s 7d. Bank of New Zealaid, 48s 9d.
