WELLINGTON, Thursday. Publio Interest in the general election Is apparent from the forward condition of the general electoral roll, which closed on July 8. The total number of electors on the roll at that date was 814,286, compared with 755,922 on the main roll for the 1928 general election, an Increase of 58,364. The supplementary roll Is being compiled and already some thousands of names have been recorded. The number of electors on the general and supplementary rolls in the 1928 campaign was 844,633.
