LUNCHEON PARTY,
FOR MRS J. Q. COATES. A luncheon party,' organised by the local executive of the Women’s Divi--sion of South Auckland group of New Zealand Political Reform League in Hamilton, was held yesterday in honour of Mrs J. G. Coates, wife of the Leader of the Reform Party. The president of the group, Mrs A. M. Bisley, introduced Mrs Coales to the assembly and a very enjoyable time was spent. The room was beautifully arranged with violets and golden shaded Powers, the League's colours being blue and gold. Among the many present were:— Mrs J. 6. Coates, Airs'F. D. Pinfold, Mrs J. R. Fow, Mrs Stewart Reid, .Mrs A. J. Storey (president of Te Awamutu Committee), Mrs Waring (president of Taupiri Committee), Airs Mervyn Wells (president of Cambridge committee), and the following. vice-presidents: Airs F. C. Alacky (Paterangl), Airs A. AI. Allen (Alorrinsvllle), Airs V. J. Farrington (Taupiri), Airs A. Johns (Eureka), Airs Sands (Cambridge), Airs Patterson (Ngaruawahia), Airs Jones, J.P., also AJiss Alandeno (Te Awamutu), Alisses Gaze, representing the local branch of the Junior Reform League, Airs E. AI. Findlay, and members of the local committee.
