ENGAGEMENTS. The engagement is announced of Isidor Goodman, the pianist who toured New Zealand with Joseph Hislop a few weeks ago, to Miss Patricia Nathan, of Elizabeth Bay, Sydney. Miss Nathan is a well-known society girl, a petite brunette, seventeen years of age. # * # * An engagement is announced between Jean Maxwell, younger twin daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Leckie, “Lyttenhanger,” and Bewi, younger son of Mr and Mrs C. F. Murray, of “Wharanui,” Blenheim, Marlborough. An engagement is announced between Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs C. P. Murray-Aynsley, Marlon, and John Duncan, second son of Mr and Mrs W. J. Simpson, Heaton Park, Marton. * & # The engagement is announced of Elizabeth Margaret, the seebnd daughter of Mr and Mrs C. B. Hobson, of Te Kura, Otorohanga, to Norman Price, third son of Mrs Jack and the late Mr N. P. Jack, of Mount Eden, Auckland.
