RUSSIA AND POLAND.
VIOLATION OF FRONTIER. AIRMEN’S INEXPLICABLE ACTION. Unitea Press Assn. —Eloc. Tel. Copyright. WARSAW, July 27. Polish frontier guards near Rakow saw a Russian aeroplane flying over Polish territory, the pilots of which were examining villages and frontier posts. The airmen are alleged to have opened fire on the soldiers, who replied with rifle-flre, causing the withdrawal of the aeroplane across the border.
Poland has strongly protested to the Soviet against this violation of the frontier.
