REPORTED TO BE DYINCL REALISES END IS NEAR. VISITED BY HENRY FORD. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday.A wireless message picked up at Wellington states that Mr Thomas A. Edison is dying. He is ill, in bed at home, and is being visited by his old friend Mr Henry Ford. Mr Edison realises that the end is near, and accepts the fact with resignation. Mr Edison is 84 years of age.
