TE AROHA CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. Mr Persy 'Heathcote presided at the annual meVlng of the club. The balance sheet showed a credit of £ls 8s Id with assets £93. It was decided to hold the New Year Tourney as in the past, and to carry on with the pairs tourney immediately afterwards. A recommendation was made to tho incoming committee to issue a booklet showing all the club fixtures, for the guidance of members.. The presentation of last season’s trophies was made by the president as follows: Champion singles, Mr Ron Buchan; Sellars Rose Bowl, singles handicap competition, Mr L. Joll.
The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: Patron, Mr D. McL. Wallace; president, Mr E. C. Wykes; vice-presidents, Messrs Joll and C. Stuck; secretary and treasurer, Mr G. Hedge; committee, Messrs W. Palmer, 0. Jones, H. S. Powell, N. Austin, G. Cochrane and P. Heathcote; match committee, Messrs Powell and Palmer; delegates to South Auckland Bowling Centro, Messrs E. C. Wykes, J. A. Clojhier and W. Maingay; delegates to Goldfields Centre, Messrs Maingay, H. Wood and Clothier; auditor, Mr N. Ray; official coach, Mr L. Buchan.
