FRIESIAN BREEDERS.
THE ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the South Auckland branch of tlie New Zealand Friesian Association was held in Hamilton, when the president, Mr Janies Hart, presided over a large and representative gat tiering. The annual report and balancesheet showed a credit balance of £9 lOs Set.
The report stated it was pleasing to note that under S.U. test several cows produced over itiOlb of fat in one month. The branch held -a stall at the Waikato Winter Show, also distributed pamphlets and literature It was with regret that the deaths of two enthusiastic members, Mr R. D. Donney and Mr J. M. Thompson, both of M'orrinsvillo, were recorded. A vote of condolence was passed.
The report and balance-sheet were 'adopted. The election of officers resulted:— President, .Mr Jas. Hart (Morrinsville) ; vice-president, .Mr C. Hodgson (Tamahere); lion, secretary, iMr F. M. Clements (Rototuna); general committee, Messrs Whittaker, Stevenson, Jas. Ward, E.'C. Banks, jun., G. Whcwell, IJ.1 J . Hodgson, J. Hodgson, J. It. West, and It. W. Nichot.
