OBITUARY.
MR J. C. GIBSON. The death has occurred of Mr John Clifford Gibson, of Cambridge, aged 71 years. Mr Gibson was born at St. Helena. With his wife and family he came to New Zealand in 1921. lie leaves a widow and a grown-up family of three sons and four daughters.
MRS P. HISCOCKS. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The death lias occurred ol' Mrs Mary Josephine Hiscocks, of Ponsonby, a resident of Auckland for 52 years. MR A. E. BAGNALL. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. Mr Alfred Ernest Bagnall, of Bemuera, who was prominent in Masonic circles, died on Sunday, at the age of 54 years. COLONEL S. J. SHILLINGTON. SYDNEY, June 8. The death has occurred of Colonel S. J. Shillington, a prominent soldier who served with distinction at Gallipoli, in Palestine and in France. Deceased was elected to the New South Wales Legislative Assembly in 19J9, and in 1926 became Resident Magistrate and Acting-Judge at Rabaul. From 'there he returned last year owing to ill-health.
