A semi-official statement comes from Senator Borah, who flatly favours the revision of the German reparations agreement. When asked whether the United States should share in the good work by making it easier for the allied nations to forego reparations by cancelling war debts be replied in the affirmative, but with a reservation that Europe should reduce armaments in a large way.
