DESTRUCTIVE FIRES.
DAMAGE £IB,OOO. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. SYDNEY, June 8. Five business premises were burned this morning at Ballina, a seaport town 330 miles north of Sydney. The damage Is estimated at £12,000. The courthouse and a hotel at Peterson, a 'town also on the north coast, were destroyed by fire. The damage is estimated at £6OOO.
