BETTER TIMES AHEAD. 11 TIDE HAS CERTAINLY TURNED.” AUCKLAND, Tuesday. “ There is undoubtedly a much better demand for land,” said an Auckland land agent yesterday. ”It has always been my experience that in times like the present, when tilings have been bad, the first signs of recovery come from the country. During the past few months we have experienced in the land agency business a distinctly better demand for small farms. As J say, that has always preceded an improvement in the affairs of the Dominion, and I am certain belter times arc not far off. The tide has certainly turned.”
