•-■- THE LATEST RETURNS. IN THE AUCKLAND PROVINCE. '.The production of butter-fat in the Auckland province for the first 10 months of the season is 125,817,000 lb., which is more than 3,900,000 m excess of the previous year, an increase of 3.2 per cent. The returns for April show a fall-ing-off of 2,909,0001 b., or 26.7 per cent., when compared with the production in March. In April, 1930, the production was 1,956,000., or 19.( per cent., greater than in April, 1931. This season’s output in the province to date is worth approximately £6,291,000, The following table shows the details of production of butter and cheese in the Auckland Province in terms of butter-fat for the first 10 months of the dairying year, compared with those of the corresponding periods of the preceding season:—
