CAPONE INDICTED. RELEASE ON £IO,OOO BAIL. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright. CHICAGO, June 6. After two years of secret investigation the Government lias secured an indictment against the notorious gangster, At Capone, for evasion of income-tax payments totalling about £3-6,500, and other charges sufficient to have him imprisoned for 32 years. Federal Treasury officials examined 1000 persons to determine the gangster’s myriad financial affairs. Capone surrendered to the authorities to-day and was released on bail of £IO,OOO.
