PRESBYTERIAN ASSEMBLY.
THE BENEFICIARY FUND. A TOTAL OF £177,000. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WE LUNG TON, Monday. Reporting at the Presbyterian General Assembly to-day Rev. A. B. Todd said the capital of the beneficiary fund stood at £177.000, including a carry forward of £7OOO. The assembly agreed to recommend that the maximum annuity be Increased to £IBO and that lhc recommendation be sent down to tiie Presbyteries for consideration. * A resolution was passed with acclamation expressing the Assembly’s warm appreciation of the splendid service given by Rev. A. Todd, who had been a member of ihc beneficiary fund committee for 4 1 years and convenor of the committee for 23 rears.
