CAUGHT IN THE ACT.
BREAKING AND ENTRY CHARGE. ALLEGED CAR ROBBERS TAKEN. (By Telegraph.—Pres3 Association.) TAUMARUNUI, Monday. This morning while Mr H. W. Glynn, officer in charge of the Waikune Prison Camp, and two warders, were searching for a man who escaped from the Rangipo Prison Camp last Tuesday, they caught another man in Mr John Cullen’s residence, National Park, and arrested him on a charge of breaking and entering. A few minutes later they apprehended three men with a car which it is alleged was stolen from Pukelcohe last night.
