STORAGE IN LONDON. SUBSTANTIAL SAVING' REVISION OF CHARGES. The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board advises that it has completed a new storage contract for butler at London at a reduction of 2s per ton on the consolidated rate. On a conservative estimate this means an annual saving of £9OOO. New rates, however, have been arranged as from April 1, which show a saving of between £2OOO and £3OOO per annum. Under the old contract there were separate rates for summer and for winter, but there Is now one flat rate throughout the year. Empire Marketing Boards estimated stocks of all 'butters at May 30, 1931, 558,242 boxes, last year, 1,030,635 boxes. Cheese: Yew Zealand, while, 53s to 55s (53s to 555); coloured, 5Gs to 58s (57s to 595). Deliveries New Zea'land 'this week, 25,000 crates; in store, 188,554 crates- Australian coloured, 5Gs to 57s (565). South African, 50s to 52s (50s to 525). Market steady. Retail prices unchanged. Canadian, white and coloured, 70s, 74s to 7Gs last season’s (70s, 74s lo 765), . Market quiet.' Deliveries Canadian 3856 boxes; in store 127,684 boxes. This season’s Canadian cheese and butter not yet officially quoted; arrivals Canadian cheese 2300 boxes. C.i.f. quotations coloured cheese 575, butter 107 s, expect 11,000 boxes arrive next week.
