TATUANUI CROQUET CLUB.
SOCIAL AND PRESENTATION. The Tatuanui Croquet Club held a social in the Tatuanui Hall on Thursday evening in aid of the club’s funds. There was a fair attendance. Music for the dancing was provided by Mrs McEwan and Messrs ,T. Marshall and R. Micheson. Cards and games were also played. Mrs A. Wralt and Mrs ,T. Crawford divided for the ladies’ prize, while Messrs A. Crow, C. Bing. A. Wratt and ,T. Crawford were equal for tlie men's prize. Supper was provided by Ihe ladies. At a gathering of Croquet Club members at Mrs W. Darrel's house on Wednesday, a presentation of a set. of table linen was made to Mrs Mac Ewan. who has played the piano al the club's socials as well as at ail the entertainments held in the district. A plea--s,ant time was spent in games and competitions.
