The Governor-General and Lady Bledisloe, with a party from Government House, attended the recital given at Auckland on Saturday night by Mischa Levitzki. At the close His Excellency stepped forward to the platform, shook the great pianist by the hand, and graciously acknowledged the pleasure he and his party had derived from Levitzki's wonderful performance.
