THE GREAT SHOW.
CLOSES TO-NIGHT. BIG HOLIDAY CROWDS. EVENING'S SPECIAL PROGRAMME. To-day marks 'the close of the 25th annual Waikato Winter Show. While, perhaps, the attendances have not reached those of some former shows, this year’s exhibition has been an improvement in many ways. The exhibits have been displayed in a better way. More space has been afforded each section, and there has been that absence of cramping usually the cause of so much complaint by exhibitors. To-day being the King’s Birthday and a public holiday, large crowds are expected from different parts of the province. Special trains are being run and there are few who have not seen the show who will miss •the opportunity to-day. To-night there will be a special programme of musical and elocutionary items, while Mile. Michell will again perform her daring trapeze act.
