Since the No. 5 unemployment scheme cfinie into operation the prcssure on the labour market has been relieved considerably, and the oTrcials at. the local Labour bureau are ab e to breathe with some freedom. Already 225 men have been g'ven employment, under this scheme locally, and there is room for more in Lie country areas, where men able to do the work are registered. A number of men are still being p'aeed under the No. 2 scheme, mostly on gardening jobs-
