Of the horsemen riding In Tuesday’s Wellington Cup none has as good a peobrd as R. Reed, whose success In the race Is rather remarkable. In 1919 Reed was on Rewl Poto, who dead-heated for first place with Red Ribbon. A year later he rode Klimoon, with whom Oratress dead-heated for first. In 1921 he won the race outright on Maloha. Ho. wot) again In 1923 on Rapine, and In 1928 brought Star Stranger home a winner. This Is a record that wifi not be easily bettered. Reed will ride Nightmarch In the coming race. >
