AUCKLAND WOOL SALES.
MANY BALES WITHDRAWN. PRICES SHOW A DECLINE. (By Telegraph.—-Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. The second Auckland wool sale of the season opened this morning. A total of 17,282 hales was catalogued, but many were withdrawn before the sale, and passings were numerous during the sale. Prices were a farthing to a halfpenny down on the Napier levels, and three farthings lower than tiie Auckland November rales. The lots sold were those suitable for Continental and Bradford requirements. Bidding was keen.
