THE SUMMER SHOW.
NEXT WEEK’S DISPLAY. ENTRIES NOT COWPLET2. HOME INDUSTRIES POPULAR. Entries for the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s show, which will be held at Claudeiands on Wednesday and Thursday November 12 and 13, were expected to show a big drop on'those of last year owing to the prevailing depression and the cold weather experienced in tjie spring. To the satisfaction of the show committee and secretary, however, it appears that the decrease will be very small. The figures published below represent the entries exclusive of late entries which will include 100 in the school section'and about 50 more in the other sections. A feature of the entries is the remarkable increase in the home industries section, a fact .which amply demonstrates the popularity of this department of the show. The cattle and sheep divisions reveal the sharpest decline as was only to be expected. The incomplete figures below show a drop of only 180 on last year’s returns, which will, it is confidently anticipated, be compensated for in the 1q + q onfrinc
